    What are the benefits of taking natural protein powders?

    How much should I spend on a protein powder?

    What are BCAAs?
    Branch Chain Amino Acids or BCAAs can be found in all protein sources, and are made up of three essential amino acids: Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine. Essential amino acids are required by the body to stimulate protein synthesis; however, they cannot be created by the body. To increase the rate of absorption, we have created 100% natural BCAA supplements with lightning fast absorption rates. All our BCAA supplements contain a particularly high 4:1:1 ratio of Leucine. This particular amino acid is most required for repair and muscle growth.
    Should I add BCAAs to my protein shake and when should I take them?
    No, not necessarily. You can add them to your protein shake, but BCAAs are best used as an intra-workout. Drinking them during your workout helps prevent fatigue and increase output. SF Nutrition BCAAs are blended with an electrolyte formula to keep you hydrated during those sweaty sessions.
    Should I take protein if my training leans towards cardio, rather than weights?
    You can take all of our supplements, including protein powders if you training largely centres around cardio. Regardless of training goals, your diet should consist of approx. 40% protein. Protein powders are a very convenient way to make sure you're consuming enough protein.
    I'm pregnant, is it ok to take protein supplements?
    Yes. However, we advise you to seek advice from a qualified trainer, nutritionist or doctor.
    Should I be worried about long-term health implications if I'm using protein supplements?

    I workout a couple times each week; are protein supplements for me?
